ふくろうは古来より「福を呼ぶ」「苦労を避ける」「知恵の象徴」として親しまれ、幸運のお守りや学業成就の縁起物として広く愛されてきました。
酸化焼成から生まれたやさしい色合いに、透明釉薬の艶やかさと繊細な貫入が重なり、やわらかな表情と奥行きを生み出します。一つひとつ異なる自然の模様が温もりを添え、穏やかで品のある佇まいに仕上がっています。

This “Owl” is meticulously crafted one by one by Miyasou Ceramics, a studio carrying on the tradition of ceramics, backed by over 100 years of history and technique.

Since ancient times, the owl has been cherished as a symbol of “inviting fortune,” “warding off hardship,” and “wisdom.” It is widely loved as a lucky charm and an auspicious talisman for academic success.
The gentle tones created through traditional oxidation firing are enhanced by the lustrous sheen of a transparent glaze and delicate crackle patterns. Each naturally formed line is unique, adding warmth, depth, and a quiet elegance to the piece.
